About the owner:
My name is Michael Thomas. I was born and raised in a very small town in the beautiful state of West Virginia. Wanting to follow in the steps of my father and grand-father, I joined the military two weeks after graduating high school and was stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas where I was attached to the 47th E.OD. (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) After serving my country for six years I decided to become a civilian again and take what the military had given me and apply it to the private security sector.
I have personally worked with each and every component from the door and frame to the electric strike and card reader. A few of my past projects include the Department of Interior, the Department of Health and Human Services as well as President George W. Bush's private ranch in Crawford, Texas. I have not only designed and provided but, I have also installed and serviced many different models of access control systems, CCTV systems and other components that directly relate to physical security. If it has anything to do with a door... I can help you take care of it.
One of the problems that I have realized during the past 10 years of working in this industry is that no one is willing to take full responsibility for their work. If something doesn't work, they always have someone else that they can point the finger of blame at. How many times have you heard, "It's
not our fault, you need to call your other contractor but... you still owe me for coming out today"? I have decided that it's time for someone to put their name on the line and be willing to stand behind it. I have now formed Integrated Safety & Security Group to do just that.
When I say I am going to take care of something - I take care of it. I may not always have the answer you want or even have an answer but, what I will tell you is the truth. If I do something wrong - I'll admit it and do what ever it takes to make it right. I won't avoid your calls just because I don't have an answer for you. I'll simply tell you that I don't have an answer and get you one as soon as humanly possible. All I ask from you is that you try and be realistic and allow me the time needed to do the research to provide you with the correct information.
I know some people may be skeptical about allowing a new company like this to provide material and services for something as important as safety and security. My only thought would be... "If my work is good enough for the President of the United States, isn't it good enough for you?" Besides, how are you going to realize how much money and aggravation we can save you if you don't give us a chance to do so? Just remember this: When it comes to safety and security, one call resolves it all, Integrated Safety & Security Group.
